COVID-19 LIBRARY HOURS UPDATE

Lobby Service Hours: Lobby Hours have been temporarily suspended due to the State's shelter in place order.
Grab and Go (Previously Curbside Pick-Up) Hours: Monday - Saturday, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Use our online catalog, or call (575) 528-4005 to place library materials on hold. Once the item is available you will receive an email notifying you item is available to pick up. Call (575) 528-4000 or request online, to request pick-up or for more information. Please allow 30 minutes for preparation of materials for pickup. Grab and Go is located at the building entrance and is contactless and staff cannot accept returns. Return material in the Book Return located at the side of the library. Masks are required during the Grab and Go service.
Computer Lab Hours: Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM; Saturday 10:00 AM - 3:45 PM, call ahead (575) 528-4000, to see if there is a wait or if computers are available. Computer lab capacity has been further reduced to allow for greater social distancing. Masks are required inside the building. Patrons wishing to use the Computer Lab must have their temperature checked before entering the Lab.
Reference Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Saturday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, by calling (575) 528-4005 for reference services such as library card sign-up, and digital resource troubleshooting.
The Munson and Sage Branches will remain closed.
All items being returned need to be placed in the outside book drep located on the side of the building. Fines and fees are still being waived. The Library is not currently accepting donations of books, videos or magazines.

The Library has many digital resources, such as e-books, e-audiobooks, streaming music and movies, digital magazines, databases and more, which patrons can visit from the comfort of their own home.

Do you need a library card to access our digital services from home?
A FREE library card is available to Dona Ana County, New Mexico residents with a valid photo ID with a current address, or a valid photo ID and a current proof of address, such as a utility bill or lease. New Mexico residents who live outside of Dona Ana county can receive a free library card with a valid photo ID, current proof of address, and a library card from where they live. Children and teens 17 years and under must have a parent or guardian sign their application for a card. Parents and guardians must have a library account in good standing in order to sign their child up for a card. A $5 replacement fee is charged if the card is lost, stolen or damaged beyond use.
